    This thing didn’t work at all. The video went through ok but no audio through the RCA jacks.

    After a few days of use this product does what is supposed to do, and what I wanted it to do. Setup took just a couple of minutes, testing it took another couple of minutes, and I am good to go. I did not notice any degradation in either picture or sound quality on my Home Theater system. Thanks for a good product, highly recommended.

    Tough getting hdmi working with pre-hdmi sound system. May take some experimenting to figure out the optimal way to hook it up, but it does exactly what I wanted. Now I can get the sound coming out of my sound system with the HDMI connected and no loss of HD picture quality. Very happy with the purchase.
