    We have this unit going on the output of a 5×1 switch, so that we can take audio out of the signal and send it to an existing Bose system. While the unit does indeed break out the audio, the video suffers severely. If you are a big fan of poor video quality or simply want to watch a image smeared with pink, then please purchase this device.

    I have been using the device for about a month now and it works perfect. I used it to extract the analog audio from HDMI output of a Raspberry Pi running XBMC, as the onboard analog output has a lot of noise. It works well, is very small and unobtrusive, no loss or delay in sound, and the sound quality doesn’t sound any different then the original. I would buy this product again.

    Now I can use this converter on my PC,it is very useful, I can use HDMI to output the video to my Philips 43′ 1080 p LED TV ,and the audio to the JVC 5.1 audio system.It works perfect ,only this little box did all these things. The picture is perfect and the sound is also better quality than the line I used before. It is a pretty good production.
