Picky Buyer –
Don’t waste your money on the other Optical Audio connectors. If you have an older sound system and need to connect multiple optical audio cables this will do it with a simple hook up. I have a 7 year old Bose 3-2-1 that now has 3 optical audio cables connected to it (Apple, Comcast and a Blu Ray). The sound is terrific on all three connections and is switched easily between the devices with a remote.

Im using this in a pro audio recording studio . I have 3, 8 Ch digital A/D converters with Pre Amps. One preamp on each of my 24 ch on my board. Each unit has a digital out so I needed a switcher with a remote and a LED indicating which unit I was using. Having a 2 in 4 out gives me many options. Works great. Totally recommend this product. Top quality, I only which it had a better way of securing it to the desk. Im using velcro.
