I received this item free in exchange for a review. Despite that kindness I give my absolutely candid thoughts below. * Dirt simple operation. One set of plugs in, one set of plugs out. That’s it. * Toggle between 720 and 1080p with just a minor interruption. * Disappointing but inevitable that you need an external power source. Because of the way the inputs work this is unavoidable but I hate having to have an extra plug

Works as advertised. The led lights at the front are a bit too bright though.

The J-Tech Digital JTD-MH-AV Mini HDMI to Composite AV CVBS R/L HD Video arrive well packaged and on time and the price was well within my means. However it didn’t work for me.

This converter was good while it lasted, but it stopped working 7 months after we bought it. It’s one of the few converters that plugs into an outlet (most others are USB powered). It did its job well for a while, but started to get a little troublesome in July. We would have to restart it, and it would be hot to the touch. It stopped working altogether in August; we bought it in January. I understand these things don’t last forever, but 7 months seems to be a little ridiculous. We have bought another brand (one that plugs in via USB) and hope that it works better.

    Too hard to use.
