J-TECH Multi-Resolution (MRO) HDMI Splitters

The J-TECH Multi-Resolution (MRO) HDMI Splitters allow customers to split and distribute a single input source signal to multiple displays comprised of different resolutions. With predefined EDID settings via the toggle switch on the unit, customers are able to send a uniform resolution to the supported displays, or send mixed resolution where each display receives the appropriate resolution that it is compatible with. For example, if the source device is outputting a 4K signal, and the setup includes one 4K display and one 1080P display, the MRO splitter, with the correct EDID toggle switch setting, will send 4K signal to the 4K display while downscaling that signal and sending a 1080P signal to the 1080 display.

*Please note that the J-TECH MRO splitters are not able to downscale signal to a 720P resolution.

  • 1 HDMI Input and 2 HDMI Outputs
  • Supports 36-bit Deep Color, HDR10, and Dolby Vision
  • Supports audio formats such as PCM, LPCM 7.1, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, and DTS-HD Master Audio
  • EDID Toggle Switch modes:
    • Copy: Higher resolution display should be connected to HDMI Output 1. This function allows the display connected to HDMI Output 2 to copy the resolution and refresh rate of the display connected to HDMI Output 1
    • Fixed: Defaults resolution to 4K @ 60Hz to both HDMI Outputs
    • Mixed: Higher resolution display should be connected to HDMI Output 1. This function allows the splitter to follow the resolution of the lower standard display connected to HDMI Output 2, and distribute that signal to the display connected to HDMI Output 1
  • CEC commands are only passed to HDMI Output 1

  • Mixed: Higher resolution display should be connected to HDMI Output 8. This function allows the splitter to follow the resolution of the lower standard display connected to HDMI Output 5, and distribute that signal to the displays connected to HDMI Outputs 1-7

*Please note: The splitter does not downscale the signal to 720P.

** Please note: The splitter will not downgrade a 4K @ 30Hz input signal.
